The Adult Sports League Coed Touch Football OVERVIEW | SEASON LENGTH | NUMBER OF PLAYERS | AGE LIMIT | EQUIPMENT |UNIFORMS | LOCATION | GAME TIME AND DATES | COST | SPONSOR BARS OVERVIEW: We play a version of football not unlike the kind you may play on Thanksgiving or the pickup games you play on the beach/park on the weekends. It's an 8 on 8 style of touch. One quarterback and the rest are eligible receivers. The quarterback says hike and off the receivers go. There is no blocking and no contact. Every 3 Downs a girl must touch the ball. All other rules are pretty comparable to the stuff you see on tv. SEASON LENGTH : Regular season is 8 weeks long with play-offs following the regular season of football. NUMBER OF PLAYERS : Minimum of 14 on a team. No maximum limit. teams are coed, 8 players of the field (max. 5 men and 3 women) AGE LIMIT : Minimum age is 21 years old. EQUIPMENT: Teams bring their own footballs. The ASL provides fields and ref's. UNIFORMS: Team jersys (tee-shirts) will be provided and must be worn at all games and sponsor bars LOCATION : Check league pages for specific league locations GAME TIMES AND DATES : Goto city pages for league start dates and times COST: $70 per player.
